 Sam - 2005-04-25 16:24:49WoW. So yeah, I'm going to gush here for a second. World of Warcraft is a damn hella good game. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm the tiniest bit starstruck, as it's my first major exposure to any kind of MMAnything. But I had approximately half an orgasm of more fun playing WoW for about 15 minutes than I did trying Everquest for about half a day. And Everquest II, more specifically the Trial of the Isle (one of the worst demos ever to come out of a man's special asslips) just made me feel wrong and dirty, like I had just walked into a nudie booth, but instead of hot chicks with diseases inside, there were only men and animals. Damn you, brain imagery. I don't know that I can really go into specifics on why I find it so gasmic. It has the looks, the scale, the loot, the questing, the fun, and the idiots. Mostly I love the idiots. Find a friend (word up, Eagle) with a WoW account and go hang out in /1, or General chat, in any region of your choice, for about 10 minutes. You will likely see a literary gem that is worthy of the next edition of Bartletts. No, really. It's on par, for me, with Satre, the famous philosopher. Of course, most everything he says makes you want to go kill yourself. I wonder if Satre plays WoW. I've heard Will Smith does.
